Jac Julien
Success Coach

Hey You!  Thanks for stopping by!

I’m Jacqueline (Jac to my friends) Julien.  I’m the creator of The Empowered Life Diet.

I work with smart, sassy women to help them reclaim their inner strength to love themselves, slay their food demons and live their empowered life.

Once upon a time you were going to have it all.  You did all the things you were told you “should” – got an education, found a significant other, maybe had 2.5 kids, a dog and maybe even that white picket fence.  Now that you have it “all” you are calling B.S. on this thing called adulthood.  What happened to that Badass girl who was going to rule the world and how do you get her back?

I believe that before you begin to even think about losing weight you need to be following YOUR vision of what your life should be. Having enough willpower is not the issue, but eating as a replacement for other things in your life is. Until you decide that you want to make changes because you love yourself and want to kick ass in your world, there is no reason to start any type of diet.

I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology and bring that knowledge to my practice as a Well-Life Coach. My coaching practice has inspired thousands of women to stop yo-yo dieting and empower their life to get back to being kick ass.

I have personally been through the issues with emotional eating.  I know how eating for other reasons sabotages your weight loss.  After my husband was diagnosed with a chronic kidney condition I turned to food for comfort and friendship.  I ballooned to my highest weight ever (even more than when I was pregnant!). I tried diet after diet, I even found one that helped me lose weight.  But I couldn’t stay on it and my emotional eating habits resurfaced.

I finally realized that until I loved myself enough to deal with my issues that led me to overeat, I was never going to keep the weight off. I started living my life. I focused on making the vision of life I had come true. This was when I began to realize that I was pretty fabulous and I needed to treat myself in that way. Now I help other kick ass women do the same.

In addition to being a Well-Life Coach I am a wife and mother of 2 kiddos.  I’m an animal lover and we foster Boxers for our local Boxer rescue. We were first time foster failures and adopted our 3rd dog, Bailey. We also have 3.5 cats (3 indoor and one outdoor that adopted us). I spent 4 years in the Army after high school as part of the greatest oxymoron, military intelligence. I’m also admit to being an ID addict.
